dairy-free cheesy sauce - rich
You could use any of the dairy-free creamy sauce recipes as a base for this. For a rich topping it is best to use the rich creamy sauce recipe, so we've put this in here.

Ingredients
- creamy sauce recipe:*
- 1.25 cups sweetened soya milk
- 1 cup sunflower/rapeseed/olive oil
- juice of 1/2 lemon or most of that of a lime
- cheesy flavours:*
- 3-4 tablespoons yeast flakes
- 2-3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- 1-2 rounded teaspoons mustard
- 2 teaspoons yeast extract (e.g. Marmite)
- 1 cooked potato or 1-2 tablespoons of potato flour / oatmeal
Method
- Blend together the oil and juice thoroughly with a hand blender (not a liquidiser).
- Then blend in the soya milk.
- Quickly blend in the rest.
Notes
Make this using the rich creamy sauce recipe (as shown) and it will be the best recipe for pizza/bake cheezy sauce.
