Description
A slightly tucked-away rustic pizza place near the Tufs lift
base in Val Claret.
Your pizza is freshly baked to order in a proper pizza oven,
with bubbling dough. They are happy to not put cheese on and add
extra toppings, which are always generous. Our favourite is the
Vegetarienne without cheese, plus walnuts (noix) and olives. The
roasted vegetables on this are lush. Knives are sharp so cutting
them up is easy.
There's also a veggie pasta dish with vegetables and toasted
seeds on it which appears to be vegan.
Pignata is seriously friendly and helpful, so along with the
great food and reasonable prices it can book up, so book ahead if
in doubt. Open lunchtimes and evenings from 6:30pm.
The owner also rents out apartments locally, so call if
interested.
