Description
The world's first Vegetarian Society
approved ski company has now moved on. Their chalet has been
taken over by a new company, which they recommend, but we are
unsure of their veggie credentials. Please find out and report back
to us, or take a look of Karibuni
and Ski Weekender , also in La Clusaz.

Pam and Paul of Snow Chalet's message:

After three fabulous ski seasons in the mountains in France, we
have now, as planned, returned to the UK full time. But Snow Chalet
and the lovely Chalet Fan La Bise live on!

We have passed the business on to the couple who ran Chalet
Sophia in La Clusaz last season, Dave and Sam Pentin, who you may
know as the people behind Gravite. Dave and Sam have now spent two
seasons in the area, the previous in St Jean de Sixt and are living
full time in La Clusaz. To find out more about holidaying with
them, you can reach them through their website www.gravite.co.uk .

"[when run by Snow Chalet, rather than Gravite] The Chalet is run by long term veggies. We stayed 2005, as a mixed vegan/veggie/meaty group - Vegan catering was excellent and inspired. A real effort was made, including providing vegan croissants, yogurts etc. Tea Time cakes were always vegan and scrummy. I would recommend. "
