Sarah, the owner of this traditional pretty chalet wrote to Veggie Snow as she would love to feed more vegetarians and vegans:
'I run a catered ski chalet in France. My partner and I have spent the past two years renovating a 17th century farmhouse into new luxury accommodation, open year round for those who love the mountains. Having catered other chalets for the past 5 years, we have vast experience and respect for dietary requirements, as well as catering for meat-eaters. We work with other chalets in the area during the winter, advising on catering for veggies/vegans and after the winter ski season, we run residential Yoga courses, and cookery courses.
'We are situated one hour from Geneva airport/train station, in the beautiful Grand Massif region. There's excellent snow until the end of April, and it's an area suitable for all levels of skiers and snowboarders.'
You can also get there very cheaply by train via Paris - getting out a Cluses. This gives you two extra days of skiing if you take the overnight sleeper service.
This chalet is increasing its number of rooms and also is friends with another chalet nearby, so larger groups can be accommodated too.
