Description
Chalet Le Palane is a traditionally built wooden chalet with 4 bedrooms, sleeping nine but with space for more. Situated only an hour from Geneva airport and with access to 265km of piste that is graced by some of the most reliable snow in the Alps, Les Carroz is a great destination for skiers & boarders of all ages and abilities. Le Palane is a short walk from the free ski bus stop. A log fire, free WiFi, UK TV channels, MP3 hook-ups and a Wii & PS3 in the boot & games room make for a relaxed domestic après ski!
The British hosts (Sean and Mark) aim to provide the same degree of flavour-filled, home-cooked meals to all guests regardless of dietary requirements. Traditional Savoyarde cuisine is not exactly veg-friendly, but the catering (continental breakfast, afternoon tea and three-course dinner with wine) can be made to accommodate vegan or vegetarian guests. Meat-free meals are prepared daily and in keeping with the hostsâ view that no-one should leave the table hungry. If one or more vegans are staying, the meat-free meals will be vegan, and this will include afternoon tea and desserts: this is what one of your hosts will be eating, so you will not be short-changed!
Easy to get to by train , inclunding sleepers and TGVs (fast trains) from Paris, stopping at Cluses on the St Gervais Le Bains line.
