Description

  • We used Skibeat in La Tania. A company we'd had good experiences with before. We were looked after beautifully in every aspect: booking, travel, transfer, chalet, hosts, childcare, and most importantly yummy vegan food, enjoyed by everyone!
  • Mike and James, our chalet hosts, catered for our every need. Islay was also there at the beginning of the week. They were kind, friendly and very professional. They were not too proud to ask for ideas and inspiration in cooking vegan food, and said that they were surprised how easy it turned out to be. This despite the fact they put a fantastic amount of effort into it, which really paid off.
  • James and Islay also did 3 days of ski hosting - guiding us fast round the 3 Valleys, which was great fun.

Arrangements:

  • The whole of Chalet Emeralde was booked exclusively by us.
  • All rooms en-suite.
  • Price was £669 per person on a a two person share. Price included flight and transfer (other travel options will be available, with most opting for the train). Breakfast, tea and supper were also included.
  • Childcare was available (and of very high quality, as proven by Zuki & Tatum).
  • Additional costs for passes, ski gear and lessons are here. We strongly recommended "Magic in Motion" over ESF (which proved very worthwhile, as everyone raved about Magic).
  • All meals provided in the chalet were vegan so everyone could enjoy them. We gave SkiBeat lots of ideas beforehand for locally available ingredients and brands, as well as recipes to help them do us tasty hearty meals, and vegan cakes for tea. Talking on the phone beforehand to the chalet hosts proved invaluable, and meant we could all bring out a little bit of the ingredients they didn't have.
