Our trips are open to singles, couples and families wanting great veggie food in a fantastic location. Beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders are all welcome - there is bound to be another person of similar ability to go to lessons or hit the slopes with.

We booked 2 new exciting SkiBeat chalets in La Rosiere, France, for the week of 17th March 2007, and overflowed into a third chalet! This has proved a bumper year for Veggie Snow, with 31 of us going.

We've filled two chalets + (31 people) for the 2007 trip. One chalet was filled by us even before the 2006 season was over!

It's another fantastic location with great skiing/boarding and fabulous food and excellent people to share your holiday with. This is a resort which avoids the crowds (though that seems like it will only be the case for the next few years as more accomodation gets built) and has a friendly feel. Great easy pistes plus fun harder stuff - particularly off piste. La Rosiere also connects into the larger resort of La Thuile in Italy. La Rosiere has won an award for snow surety, which is why we can book there with confidence for a late season holiday.

• One week starting 17th March 2007.
• We will be with SkiBeat again. A company we've had good experiences with before. Last 2 trips we were looked after beautifully in every aspect: booking, chalet, hosts, childcare, and most importantly yummy vegan food! Their menu planning person is a veggie who avoids dairy - so she knows her stuff.
• We'll be in the resort of La Rosiere, which is close to Paridiski and the 3 Valleys, so you can always take a daytrip to one of these if you fancy too, though there is plenty for us all in La Rosiere and inter-connecting La Thuile (Italy). Please note this resort has only just gone up on the SkiBeat website, so the details are not quite as full as for their more long-standing chalet resorts. It is an excellent location for both skiers and boarders of all abilities, and has an award-winning independent ski school (Evolution 2) as well as ESF.
• The whole of Chalet Papillon 5 & 6 are booked for our exclusive use, and they are practically ski in ski out and have the use of 2 saunas. Book now if you want a veggiesnow place in a third chalet in the same high quality complex with the same facilities.
• All rooms are en-suite.
• We always have a wide range of ages, abilities, couples and singles.
• Price is £569 per person (if you are on your own there will still be someone to share with). Price includes flight and transfer (other travel options are available, with most opting for the daytime Eurostar direct from Waterloo to Bourg St Maurice, which we highly recommend). Breakfast, tea and supper are also included.
• High quality childcare will be available as a separate booking arrangement.
• SkiBeat provide three free days of ski guiding, which is a lovely way to get to know the area if you are already a skier. If you are learning, your skiing instructor will show you the area and the best easy bits!
• Additional costs include insurance (please arrange your own), lift passes, ski/board hire and lessons; SkiBeat have details of these costs in their "Ski Pack" pages.
• All meals provided in the chalet will be vegan so everyone can enjoy them. We always give SkiBeat lots of ideas of locally available ingredients and brands, much of which they are familiar with from the last 2 years. They will also bring some special ingredients over from the UK.
  From this website they and all other caterers can get suitable recipe ideas so that they can do us tasty hearty meals, and yummy vegan cakes for tea.
